    Just finished making an UQP

    Greetings all....
I just finished making an UQP this afternoon. It took less then 2 hours to make. It's raining here so I can't try it out or set it up to take pictures so those will follow when weather permits. Thanks goes to Gfstanley for pointing me to SargeVining's video. According to Sarge, his video was inspired by a DIY post by V_Allen. I'm looking forward giving it a test! Thanks guys.

Look forward to the pics. I've got one on my seemingly infinite to do list, so seeing others creativity with them helps inspire me.

No thanks needed, and I am looking forward to pics as well. Please include a write up with specs about dimensions, the fabric you used, and any sage advice you can offer to us when you post pics.

Thanks, mistone....I'm hoping to try it out soon too! What's interesting, if I had been smart...I could have made the end channel wider, added extra stitches and I'd have another hammock!

Hey Eidson....I'll have pictures hopefully by the weekend and I may be testing out overnight too.....we'll see. It was very easy to make. I had all of the extras to put it together so all I needed was the ripstop....

Congrats, looking forward to the pics. An UQP is a no-brainer for the DIY oriented. It takes so little time and effort (and money) to make, yet the benefits are huge.

Hey bser272....yes, it was easy. Having never seen one in action before I wasn't sure about the suspension or dimensions...ie: should it be a little larger then the UQ? My UQ is a 3/4 but thanks to Sargevining's video, I made it the length of the hammock....I'm looking forward to testing it out.
