Thanks, karo totally beats weighing out down.. Well the down stuffing was the crux of the project. I taped the giant allied feathers 1lb bag to the wall of my 3x3 stand up shower stall so I didn't have to hold it upright. I used the vaccuum for the first half of the bag of down and that took about an hour and a half. Then I decided to get it done with and just started shoveling it inside by the handful. Messy as one could imagine but it only took 15 min and I got every cluster vacuumed up once they all settled to the shower floor. I don't think any down escaped the shower. I did inhale my daily supplement of protein in down clusters however.

Stuffing took about 2 hours, only because I was tedious with the vacuum at first. By handfulling it in, it breezed by. Distributing it so I could stuff more in was sort of a pain in the arse because it would poof out the opening when I reached in to distribute and it also covered my arm in goose. Nothing the ol shopvac couldn't take care of once it all settled though.
