Hey, Hooch, when and where in the Smokies are you thinking? I hope to come up in the spring and hike some. My wife said I could set her up in the 5th wheel outside of Gatlinburg and she would let me go hike for most of the week.

Congrats on completing your goal Dancer. I'm very impressed by your decision to finish the last day alone.

Hooch, how's the knee doing? Hopefully it was just a bruise. Wish I could have had more time to talk and hang with you at MAHHA.

Hooch, You and Dancer are ALRIGHT! Dancer probably moreso than you, but, for a Jarhead, you're not too bad! Glad you had such a good hike, and too bad for the knee situation. Knees heal, and the trail goes on. Keep it up!

Hooch and I usually post our intensions for a trip ahead of time. If you see one that you are interested in, come on! Probably won't do anymore multi-day hikes until the spring though. I'm all out of vacation until January. Weather pending, I do want to do the Springer Mt. Approach Trail on New Year's Eve day and Hooch has to work.
