I hate to cancel. This was going to be my first group hang, and Home Run welcomed me to the group. Unfortunately it is not worth risking the grief I would get from the wife if I was in an accident and had to get the truck fixed. I will continue watching for group hangs in the future, and I look forward to meeting everyone. I deleted my line from the spreadsheet so that you have an accurate count of how many to expect. I just love when a good plan comes together.
My 20° Northface bag was too tight to be a pod. Then I watched Shug's latest video & noticed his sleeping bag expander.
I have a couple 20 yr old NF bags doing nothing under my bed so I grabbed one and hot diggity the zippers fit with my 20* bag. After a bit of sleeping bag cannibalism, an expander was born & ....voila!

This winter camping thing is looking a wee bit more promising.. Now I just hope Hickory remembers my boot.
