Had a nice hang at Shawnee National Forest

I went off of Indian Point Trail by Garden of the Gods. The waterfalls are Jackson and Burden falls

I put him a lil ways from me so he could barely get to me. I wouldn't have tied him but there were close cliffs nearby. He is pretty slick as far as not tangling himself up.

It's been around 50*+ in Canada right now. It's usually below freezing at this time of year. Making me want to get out for an over nighter!

Newb here... I live in beautiful Southern Illinois... my favorite places in the SNF to backpack and hang would be Jackson Falls , Lusk Creek , Garden of Gods , Bell Smith Springs, Fern Clyffe State Park, Kinkaid Lake additionally I frequent the fire trails in the SNF when they are open from Mid May to Mid December ... I typically trail ride in Jeep wrangler SNF rules only allow licensed insured vehicles to trail ride no OHV or ATV
