Hey-o from Ohio

Hey everybody, Andrew here. I have been a lurker here for a little while but decided to go out of stealth mode because I believe I could finally add to some of the posts around here! I'm a Northeast Ohio guy, avid kayaker and backpacker, even though I go out of state to do most of my 'outdoorsing' (PA, MI, WV, KY, TN). I have always been a of hammocking over ground dwelling, but just took that next step of getting myself a set of quilts so the temps won't limit me quite as much. Anywho, just figured I'd finally introduce myself!

I like the trail name! Welcome from NW Pa. There are some hammock lovers in the backing club in NE Ohio, a few in and near Cleveland.

Welcome, BrotherE! I grew up out on the Eastside, but am down in Columbus now. If you're up for testing those new quilts, a group of us are heading to Mohican this weekend.

Hi BrotherE! Glad you could join us. If you enjoy being out in the winter, we'll be doing the Mt. Rogers Winter Hang down in Virginia next month. A bunch of us Buckeyes travel south each January to join other HF folks in the mountains at the Grayson Highlands. It's car camping, so it makes it a good place to test your winter kit. We always do some backpacking, too...weather permitting.
