UL single layer hammock for 235# ?

What ripstop weight would it take ??

I already made a 2 layer hammock of 1.6oz ea layer, but would like to try to build an UL version.

Would one layer of 1.9 oz be enough ??

1.9 held me fine when I was in the 225-230# range. Even did a lighter weight one, but I'm not sure what the numbers were. More than 1.1, though.

1.1 will hold you. It just won't be as comfortable. I'm in your weight range and don't have any noticeable stretch in my single layer 1.7.
