UC Idea's

I need some ideas. Today i got ahold of 2 king size down filled bed spreads and I want to make me a UC. Does anyone have a pattern to make a UC from?

I used an old sheet, pinned (clothespin type clamps) it to the underside of my hammock and using a magic marker, put darts and marked the general pattern. Cut the sheet and then pinned it together and put it back on my hammock. When I got the fit pretty good, I removed all the pins and put that on top of my material I was making my under quilt out of and transfered the pattern to it. Since you're working with an already made down quilt, when you get to the part where you've transfered the pattern onto the quilt, do not cut the quilt or you will have feathers all over the place. You will need to sew all the cutting lines first. Try to push the feathers/down towards the middle of your quilt so more will be actually in your quilt when you finish cutting. You might want to sew a double row so that you cut between the lines and down isn't coming out of the pieces you cut off your quilt. Probably gonna be feathers flying around though anyways.
