    Hey Jerry!
I don't know if I can make it. I really want to, its been too long since I had a nice trip in the woods. I just know the limits of the current set up I have (a diy layered summer UQ) the tarp I'm using, the snow shoes and the possible unfair weather that will be lingering. I will definitely come to more hangs, closer to town or better known (I found out about the forums just not too long ago, mere weeks.)
Its been good finding this awesome treasure chest of knowledge and good vibes. For next time, perhaps!

OK.. so given the weather trend over the last couple years...
Thinking that we may have to change the name of our annual winter hang...
Think we may have to consider renaming to the "Sweaty Yeti" Hang! hahahaha
Dress for anything my friends... could be balmy.
    2.jpg
Unfortunately the name has been taken by a run and a fat tire bike race...
Upon further review.. if we changed the spelling to ... Sweati Yeti we are fine!

Sounds like its going to be more of a fishing trip then a snow trip at this point in time. Hopefully there will still be enough snow left for the pulks to be used for getting teh firewood and such into the site.

I still cant wait. I have figured out what I am bringing to cook. Just have to arrange how I will spice it. Yea looks like someone should bring their largest tarp to create a dry hang out place. Oh well we have experienced worse.

Having a sunny day for the Saturday is always a nice perk when you can get it, much better then the trips I have made with freezing rain. How does the snowpack look, any point in bringing the pulk?

I'm bringing my pulk.. there is still plenty of snow.. It will be to hard to carry in the dutch oven etc...
Snow shoes are not a must.. snow was pretty packed on Sunday. I'll bring them just in case.. but ended taking them off for easier walking...
No matter the weather.. a good time will still be had I'm sure.
