    CLOSED: NER Dynaglide

This is the sign-up for a group buy of 2mm Dynaglide from New England ropes...

    Product Description:

DynaGlide is a high visible snag free 2 mm throw line made from 100% HMPE, High Modulus Polyethylene, that is pre stretched and tensile set, then treated with a vinyl coating. Compact design glides easily over branches allowing lighter throw weights. Very high strength. Very low stretch. Coating improves abrasion resistance and provides color coding capabilities. Slick finsh glides effortlessly over bark. Tensile strenght 1,000 lbs. Available in fluorescent orange or bright yellow.
Right now the lowest price I have found is $312 for a 2400' spool. I may be able to get a small, say 5% discount on that price through an Arborist forum I mod on.

pgibson is also inquiring into prices. We will go with the lowest price we can find.

But based on the $312 price, that comes to $.13 per foot. I will eat the shipping costs to get it to me, but shipping to you will be actual. Im sure up to 400' or so will fit into one of the USPS tyvek flat rate bags.

Im not looking to sell this or make any money on this group buy. All costs will be actual. Im sure the per foot price will be less if we can secure 2 spools.

    I'm good for 200'.
    EDITED:
I don't care too much about color...but the brighter and more noticeable colors are "better" (trip-avoidance, dontcha know!)

Oh, heck. I'll take 300 ft.

EDIT: Just completely read the first post. Opie, I don't think you need to eat the shipping cost. That could be easily shared. Thanks for heading this up.

EDIT #2: I would prefer orange, please.

"I fish because I love to; because I love the environs where trout are found, which are invariably beautiful... because, in a world where most men seem to spend their lives doing things they hate, my fishing is at once an endless source of delight and an act of small rebellion; because trout do not lie or cheat and cannot be bought or bribed or impressed by power, but respond only to quietude and humility and endless patience...." --Robert Traver

    I will take 200.
Predictions are risky, especially when it comes to the future.
