Guys,
When hammock camping do you take a pillow? If so which one and is it highly packable?

I use a pillow in my bedroom hammock. When camping, hiking; i just use a small fleece blanket rolled up as my pillow. Or use clothes or backpack. My experience, a pillow just wastes space.
Yes.. a simply light designs hammock pillow with climashield.. one side fleece one side hyperD.. it is very packable and very light
I use a Walmart inflatable neck pillow.... Not very comfy though. . Saving for something better. Lol.

I've been using this one for quite a while now http://www.arrowhead-equipment.com/s...ub_Pillow.html Used to roll up extra clothing but I prefer this.
I leave it attached to my RL and it packs fairly well. You might need a slightly larger stuff sack, something I request when ordering a new hammock.
I went and bought a pillow and took it camping but for some reason I sleep better with no pillow at all in the hammock.
Yes, I have a great down pillow made by fellow HF member John Sawyer. Fleece on on side (winter) and silnylon (summer) on the other. I keep in a peak bag from 2QZQ, stay in hammock.
Yep.
I take the Slumberjack Camp Pillow. Pretty light, super comfy, and packs up small.

Yep,
I made one out of 5 oz climashield and 1 oz taffeta , works great and keeps my head warm.
I carry a regular neck pillow... Like one you'd get at an airport before a long flight, or at a travel stop.
I've tried others and keep going back to this bulky heavy thing.
It's supportive, it's curved and so fits well in a hammock, comfy, and I like all of the different ways I can turn the U shape depending on how I lay. My head is always supported without being lifted too much to cause discomfort, as experience w more standard camping pillows.
It goes on top of my pack, on the outside.
