Well figured id better join instead of lurking.. My name is Josh I have picked up tons of info here and figured I should at least introduce myself, I started hammock camping with a cheap army surplus $9 mesh hammock bout 15 years ago in Phx Az had some good times for sure, I have kinda went the tent route for past 10 years and always missed it. Recently picked up a Tribe provisions hammock for next to nothing and it kinda rekindled an old flame. The past few weeks here in Ny has been pretty nice allowing some rare enjoyable Dec camping trips, but as cold weather moves in Ive had to make a DIY underquilt and start doing some serious you tubing to get a cheap set up so i can continue to hang on these colder weather trips it has been a very enjoyable experience and I am shocked to see the size of the hanging community. I look forward to bumping in to some of you on the trail.
