I use Tarpworms all the way around. On the doors I rig one door on each end w/ a Tarpworm and the other gets a permanent 6' piece of cord (I use Atwood reflective). I alternate which door gets which on each end so that each long side has a door w/ a worm and one with a cord. Then it's easy to tie the doors back inside or outside, and if I need to stake out the end I simply loop the cord around a stake and use the worm on that end to secure it.

With SilPoly you could probably ditch the shock cord to mount the worms/flyz.

Now, I need to figure out what list of Dutchware, do I need to bling this thing out with??? I know I'll do a continous ridgeline with wasp and hook... but not sure what I want to do for the tieouts... I have 4 fleaz on my Hennessey tarp, I put a flea on each corner with shock cord, so it handles the slack/breeze thing... and I don't have to have any guy lines tied to my tarp... I have them tied to my stakes. Not sure how I want to set this one up, having the extra attachment points for doors and what not. My titanium budget is going to have to get increased!
That's pretty much the tarp I'm aiming for, including color.

In another thread I added a post about using Fleaz a bit differently. I use them "backwards" so that they are on the guylines (which could be tethered to stakes) and not hanging off the tarp. I use loops of shock cord or Zing It on the tarp corners to hook the Fleaz to. There is little enough tension on the guyline as I'm setting up the tarp that I can hold the line and do the wrap around the Fleaz in that backwards way. I like this more than using Hook Worms.

    EDIT:

Here's the thread/post I was referring to. See post #4. (took me a few minutes to find it)

Maybe someday Dutch will make my "Hook-Tail Gnatz"

As GS said, with SilPoly, you don't need shock cord to keep the tarp tight. You could use shock cord to make sure you don't damage the tarp in case you or others trip on guy lines(like my son).

UGQ makes a beautiful tarp and we have quite a few here in Florida. They also make for a great group tarp in the rain due to the double internal pole mod. I would urge all to get a second UGQ WD just for that.

    Thanks for all the feedback.

As for the color, it will be very similar to the outside of my Dream Hammock with olive yellow 2.2 hex! Technically, this will be my wife's tarp, so I let her pick the color, but when she's not with, I may steal her fancy tarp! I'm trying to decide what color to go for her UQ, I'm thinking blue on the outside would look good. Now I have two items in the pipe awaiting construction! I absolutely can't wait to get my hands on my Dangerbird!!

Going with the UGQ tarp, did you look at UGQ UQ's as well? Since your getting a DHDB get the quilt hooks as well. UGQ and DH match together for the position of the quilt hooks for a custom fit. I'm not saying...I'm just saying.

    Don't forget pics for us.

Yeah, the photo is what UGQ had on their facebook page, I just ordered mine today, so I won't see it for a month. That's okay though, because it will give me time to place a couple orders with Dutch, when I make up my mind and then proceed to change it once or twice.

Cadenza, that is a sweet looking tarp, mind sharing what your corners are setup with?
