Insultex quilt extender

A lite duty summer quilt consisting of monentum, insultex, spaceblanket, fleece and RS nylon. The fleece was a necessary addition to stop condensation. (which it did)

That seems like a lot of stuff for a summer quilt. I'd think a layer or 2 of Insultex and Momentum on both sides would do the trick.

I cut a small piece to use as a liner for my Yeti, but I have not needed it yet.
It does seem to be very warm.

I plan to sandwich it between some nylon and add snaps to it and the UQ. A copy of Brandon's reflective liner.

were can you buy insultex? According to there web site it is super lite .042 oz. per sq. yard and 1 layer is good to 13 degrees. Sweet. I want to get some and make some gear

Good question. The last batch came from a HF group buy. Supposedly it's not available retail. I'd like to get about 3 to 5 yards, too.

Any chance of another group buy? Or does anyone want to part with some of theirs?
