Why not buy directly from GG?

Ed Speer sells sheets of EVA (ethyl vinyl acetate), which is what Evasote actually is... His is lighter than others, but not as light as GG, of course.

i'm trying to purchase GG's 1/4" thinlight pad too. their website says that it's in stock but the 1/4" wide option is not available from the size drop-down on the product info page.

Where does it say in stock?
I see in bold red letters 'IN STOCK IN 1/8 ONLY, ALL OTHER SIZES EXPECTED THE WEEK OF NOV 23RD.'

i just emailed GG and the sales rep responded back saying he updated the site...he also said that the 1/4" wide should be available sometime next week.
I ordered a 40"x80"x1/4" sheet from Ed Speer last night and got a shipping confirmation this morning. He's fast!

The road goes ever on and on Down from the door where it began. Now far ahead the Road has gone, And I must follow, if I can, Pursuing it with weary feet, Until it joins some larger way, Where many paths and errands meet. And whither then? I cannot say.

Owareusa.com works for me...60X40X1/4" (6oz) for the mid-$20s.

FYI...the 1/4" wide is back in stock at Gossamer Gear.

Outdoor Wilderness Fabrics has EVA foam in 1/8" and 1/4", various widths.
I found Ed Speer's foam to be light, not quite as light as GG, but much lighter than OWF.
The lightest EVA I have is a roll of 3/16" "headliner foam" that is used in reupholstering automobiles.
