It was great to get back out in the woods with familiar faces, as well as some new ones. You can always learn something from this group. As a hiking crew each person is always on the hunt for better ways to do something (cooking, fishing, sleeping) I always see something I never would have thought of. I even learned how not to make bridge hammock ends as one of mine failed. No harm done and a backup plan saved the night, that would have been terrible if I had to go to ground. I had a good time chatting with old friends and teaching some new tricks to new friends.
