Hello all!

Nice to meet you all. Saw some good things from a couple of youtube video's and thought I would join up. Got into Hammock backpacking a few months ago and really loved it! So, I thought I would talk to some like minded people and here I am. I live in southern IN. Around the New Albany area. I frequent Knob Stone Trails a bit. Don't really care for doing overnight's there as the nights are quite loud with roads and homes near the trail. Planning to do a trail somewhere else once I get the setup I like. I started with a Hennessy but just got myself a warbonnet blackbird. Once I get used to that ill try some more overnighters on the trail. Again. Nice to meet you all!

That's something I haven't heard about the KT, but it sort of falls into the mold Indiana has cast for itself. I think we also have one of the few if not the only designated Wilderness Area (The Deam) that has a public access road running right through the middle of it. On the other hand Indiana's Wilderness Areas are larger than many states further east of us. People who have been out to the end of the Penni Trail are usually startled to find themselves directly across from the "developed" North shore, and all the light pollution they have staring them in the face all night long.

Thank you for the kindness and introduction. Sorry I wont be able to make it. I have been busy with work. Holiday has been kinda crazy. But Ill keep an eye out for all the southern IN and northern KY stuff to try and meet some of the local hangers. Thanks again!
