    Tubular webbing?

I went to sun & ski this weekend, and bought 30ft of tubular webbing, thinking it's so thick it'll hold up. Well, now I'm a little bit worried about it stretching, since I'm about 250, and will be hanging down hill due to the terrain. Do you guys think I'll be OK or should I get something else?
I don't have time to order anything, since I have a 2 night hang this weekend.
So here are my options for getting something local, if needed.
    REI
    Bass Pro
    Sun & ski
    Harbor Freight
And of course Lowes, and Home Depot. (ratchet tie downs)

As long as its poly and not nylon. Heck.. even if it is nylon, it will still work.

It is more imprtant to know what it is made of. Tubular nylon is commonly used for climbing. It is heavy, very strong, and stretches. Now stretching can be a little bit of a pain but if you know it will stretch you can hang it a little higher until you get come Polyester ro polypropylene. Harbor freight supposedly have cheap ratchet tie downs that you can use.

You can change it out now, or you can change it out later, but almost everyone eventually upgrades their suspension.

Polyester is the best imo, I like the 1" seatbelt webbing from strapworks because it is a little lighter than the regular polyester and almost as strong.

You might also find poly-propylene webbing at a Horse Supply store. Poly-pro is the compromise between inexpensive stretchy nylon and a bit more expensive polyester.

Polypro is also lighter, so If you are not heavy like me it might be your best option.

The tubular will work just fine. You will get some stretch overnight. I used this type of webbing for a few months and it worked really well. When you get more time swap it out with some 1" polyester seatbelt webbing 8.00 for 30' from Ed Speer.

Ratching tiedown straps have worked very well for me. I use the orange ones from depot and I cut the metal hook off and waaala instant suspension with very little stretch. Speer hammocks has quick turnaround on his poly webbing FYI.
