What is the latest for tarp fabrics?

I have not been following the forum for a while and it seems there are all kinds of new tarp fabrics out.

The only tarp I have is made from original silpoly, it sewed great but had problems with seam seal and I'm sorry to say I've yet to use it outside.

I'm hoping to make a couple more this year and I'm not sure what fabric to go with. I'm not super worried about weigh but want something that is fairly easy to work with and will be good in wind and rain. You know the normal tarp stuff.

I see talk of fabric from Dutch and Rsbtr has tarp kits and like 6 different fabrics, some 2nd gen.

I have no idea what to choose.

I have a 2nd gen silpoly from RSBR, no issues with seam sealing or weather worthiness, and I'm extremely happy with it. MEMBRANE silpoly came out after I made my tarp, and I'd consider giving it a go if I made a new tarp. My thought on tarps is that the poly has an edge in terms of UV resistance and low stretch (no cat cuts required). I know that seam sealing was a big issue in the past, but I think that's been solved.

Regarding your seam-sealing problems with your previous tarp, I have had good luck sealing silconized fabrics using Permatex Flowable Silicone Windshield Sealer. It costs about $6 and is stocked in most auto parts stores.

I have a tarp made from PU4000 and really like it.
I would rather be in the woods... my dog would rather be in the pool. My wife thinks we are both nuts.

I have a bunch of Xenon Sil from Dutch that I still need to make into a tarp. I sewed a bunch of stuff sacks for hammocks out of it earlier this month and there's little to no stretch and it's very light weight. Can't wait to see what my tarp ends up looking like.

Do you have any Khaki by chance? If so can you post a pic? I see different Coyote Browns so I'm wondering what the Khaki looks like.

I'm sorry the Khaki picture is missing and I will get that fixed. It is light tan, very much like you would expect your Khaki pants to look like.
