Hey guys, my name is Corey, as you can see from my profile, I live in beautiful Colorado and love every moment of it. I have been camping around Colorado since I was 8 and can't ever get enough of it.

I have backpacked many times, my favorite spot is in the Wind River Range in Wyoming. It is beautiful beyond belief, the fishing is always great, and the hiking is both difficult but extremely rewarding. I switched to a hammock about a year ago and I haven't gotten to backpack with it yet, but I can't wait to.

I am glad to be a part of this hammocking family and am exited to keep searching the site. I would love to try some kind of meetup with some folks and get to know people better. So hit me up if you ever want to try it, I'm in NoCo, but am relatively flexible in terms of the Area. I can't imagine a more fun way to get to know knew people than camping or backpacking.

Welcome to the forum. There are often group hangs where people from specific geographic areas meet up for a day or two. There are a lot more in some areas than others. I know Utah has a lot fewer than other places, but I'm not too sure about Colorado. You can always check it out under the "Hangouts, Campouts, and Trip Planning" section of the forum.

Well, It's a beautiful place with lots of opportunity for hammocking. It would be fun to get some folks from the site together and go backpacking/camping!

I don't doubt it, every place has great qualities. I would love to head there sometime and explore a little.
