All, what can I do to eliminate or at least reduce the calf ridge in my multicam single layer XLC? It's not the end of the world but it does bother me almost every night.

Try raising the foot end higher forcing your head towards the other end or having it looser (less tension on the ridge line) Good luck, but what you're dealing with is exactly reason I sold mine
I don't believe it can be eliminated. It doesn't bother some folks but I haven't found a gathered end hammock without it.
You say it's not the end of the world, but a Bridge hammock will help, albeit with some tradeoffs. If you stay with the XLC, I recommend stuffing something under your leg like a pillow or clothing.
I have am steel, would a change in ridge line length help at all? I typically set it up with the feet noticeably higher already.

If it does, let me know....I sold my XLC because of this!
In my experience, if you set it up right you don't get calf ridge. Whether it's my WBBB or my WL Night Owl.
You might try a shorter ridgeline, which leads to more sag. If you don't want to make a new ridgeline right away you might try taking a mini biner, clipping it to your existing ridgeling, and winding it around a few times, making it shorter. If you like the result, you can make a new, shorter ridgeline.l
Homer: Sir, I need to know where I can get some business hammocks.
Hank Scorpio: Hammocks? My goodness, what an idea. Why didn't I think of that? Hammocks!
I get calf ridge in my XLC when the ridge is tight and when the foot end is too low. I find it's best when the foot is 12+ inches higher than the head end of the hammock and I can turn the ridgeline 90 degrees with my thumb and forefinger. When I do have the calf ridge and don't want to fiddle any more, I sleep figure 4 and that seems to help, haven't yet put something under my knees but that sounds right too. I'm 6'4" and 275 and that may have something to do with my need to have the foot quite a bit higher.
I have a single layer multicam as well. I still get the ridge as well. The foot end higher helps but I have not been able to get rid of it 100% of the time.
I was hoping I had a better picture of my XLC RL. Try ~35 degrees instead of the usual 30 and make sure you have some sag in your RL.
I have found with all my wb hammocks a slight sag to the RL probably equal to shortening the RL 2-2.5 inches does the trick.
Increasing the sag forces you to lay more diagonal which gets your calves off the center of the hammock.
