... I can add up the things I like about the woods and multiply that by how much better it is to hang than to use a tent and divide the annual pleasure by the number of times I hang each month. BUT, if you put that in a formula, I get confused!

Now I'm going to completely mess you up:

Annual pleasure = AP
The things I like about the woods = T
How much better it is to hang than to use a tent = B
Number of times I hang each month = M
Pleasure per hang = PH

AP = T x B
PH = AP / (M x 12)

Isn't there some type of "accepted norm" for how long a bury should be?... Also, isn't the length of the bury also based on the diameter of the material being spliced?
