Atlas Straps without carabiner ?

Thanks for the replies. I've never used Atlas straps and I was just curious how he could improve his set up. I suggested buying a Dutch Biner. After showing him a few different suspensions I think he is sending the straps back and buying a suspension system from Dutch

A caribiners is weight that could be taken out of the system. That's the best reason to try to get rid of it that I can think of. I use caribiners myself, they aren't THAT much extra weight if you buy small light weight ones...

Note: be sure you use caribiners rated for climbing! 20+ kN at least. Well, maybe less but I trust my life to 22kN all the time, and don't use lesser ratings... Mainly, just avoid those cheap I key chain caribiners.
