    I did it. My first hammock, and my first DIY hammock.

    That first sit in it was scary, but it's holding up. The stitches are ugly. I'm still waiting on some hardware, but I'm really happy with myself. Thank to this forum.

    Someone said to me that ugly stitches just means you were excited to finnish and hang your hammock. They don't have to be pretty to work. Nice job and welcome to the madness that is diy

    Congrats on your first hammock! Is your knotty mod not run in the hem? The knotty mod works very well, I did them on all the hammocks I made my family.
