Men hang out their signs indicative of their respective trades; shoe makers hang out a gigantic shoe; jewelers a monster watch, and the dentist hangs out a gold tooth; but up in the Mountains of New Hampshire, God Almighty has hung out a sign to show that there He makes men.

Giardiasis is not much fun. I'm pretty sure I'd rather boil than go through the antibiotic regimen yet one more time...

I carry about 50 feet of zing it for a bear bag anyways. In a really tight situation I could make it work for just about anything. I don't understand why people are carrying extra zing it AND 550. Seems like extra weight for nothing. Pack weight matters to me so I try to do without "extras". Or at least make sure anything I do bring is dual purpose

I always have 25' or so of paracord if i ever need to rig something up. Probably wouldn't be so great for hammock suspension but I would triple it up or something and make it work. Also depending on what kind of line failure you had you could probably rig something together with your broken pieces of line.

In addition to the Amsteel RL I carry 2 Amsteel continuous loops and an extra tree hugger - these last two are more as compensation for larger tree size rather than just extras.
