You look like you're laying inline in that pic. Are you on the diagonal?? If not, that would widen the UQ for ya.

Just about any quilt maker will go wider. At Loco Libre Gear we get requests for a 50" wide quilt quite often.

Think we've made up to 62", pretty darn wide. Chamber size is 4" so adding multiples of 4" to a given quilt is the way for ease. Price varies based on length temperature and down for a given quilt.

The JRB Mt Rogers and Katahdin quilts are both Nominally 60 x86 and have corner loops and end drawcords and will function as a wide UQ if desired.

That is the great thing about buying this made to order gear: not only is it high quality, but since they are making it to order it can be easily customized. Just don't complain that they don't ship the same day since they need a little time to make it.

I have been searching and haven't been able to get anything wider than around 44" I think a 48" wide or wider would be best. Any suggestions? I know the nest by JRB is 48" but there is an opening down the middle for the Hennessey.

Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!Attachment 123329
Try Sheltowee hammocks, he may be selling just UQ's now, I saw a review recently of one. I have one of his insulated hammocks, it's quite comfy and I think the UQ is oversized significantly at least for me.

HG offered to make me an underquilt 54" wide. I think most vendors are willing to build a wider uq if you ask.

That's why the forum is here, to help each other out Get on a good diagonal, with what you have now, and report back on your results. After that, follow up on the suggestions you've been given. If that doesn't work......it might be time to find a wider quilt.
