Welcome from Nashville! Wife and I lived in Memphis for six years. You've come to the right place for all things hammock hiking! Enjoy.

Welcome from Bartlett! We spent the weekend before last hanging at Wall Doxey State Park outside of Holly Springs. Heading to the Sipsey Wilderness in March.
Glad to hear from a local.
Thanks. I intend to. Just placed my order for hammock, tarp, and UQ.
Chomping at the bit.
Welcome from North Alabama. Ever come over to Sipsey Wilderness or Bankhead Forrest give me a shout. We come over to Memphis in December. My daughter runs the Saint Jude Marathon. I just watch and cheer. Welcome

I'm hoping to lead a small group from the "Nashville Backpacker" group on meetup.com to the Sipsey during the first half of March most likely. Spoke with the Ranger yesterday for advice. Thinking of doing 200 -> 209 -> 201 from Sipsey Trailhead to Randolph Trailhead. Not a lot of distance, but must allow for travel time on Sat morn and Sun afternoon.
Will be my first time in the Sipsey.

Thanks everyone. You've made a newbie feel welcome.
Never been to Sipsey before. Stay in touch.
