Cool A question of tarp colour

So I'm still hovering over the buy button on 7 yards of membrain sil poly from Ripstopbytheroll for my first diy hex tarp. (Or possibly square)
    http://ripstopbytheroll.com/products...ant=7949695041

The question is, what color. I'm in the UK, so stealth is a requirement to keep questions of land ownership and permission to a minimum.

I'd kill for camo, but they don't do it on the stupidly light sil poly, (although they do for the normal weight)

So greens and Brown's are good. But I can't picture my intended hextarp and decide what color looks both subtly camouflaged and insainly cool to make me feel better for spending lots of money importing fabric.

Dark olive is the current leader. Black looks AWSOME but surprises me how obvious it looks with another black tarp I have.

Thoughts, experiences and opinions on rsbtr colours or any tarp color stories would be really appreciated.

I'd just go for the 1.1oz silpoly in MARPAT and take the 1.47oz hit (in reality, less than that since you'll trim the 7 yds down). You wouldn't even have to kill, but it is a little more expensive.

I can kill if it helps the price.

I have considered it,... The heavier camo that is, not killing.

You'd suggest marpat over the other camos?
    Thanks

I just think MARPAT is sexy. I like most digital camos irrespective of effectiveness about which I have no idea. I'm definitely not a fan of woodland which just looks dated to me.

Multicam or you are just joking around.

If not Marpat then my choice would be Dark olive. (it may look brown on the picture but it is Dark olive, its the light). Something to have in mind is in nature you don't have all black surfaces. In the dark or dusk black is ok but otherwise you will be visible. Last summer i had a family walking by me at 30-40 meters and they did not see me (Dark olive). I did not have the MARPAT at the time but i guess its even better.

    BTW
In nature its often the shape that makes you visible especially straight lines like the ridgeline on a tarp.

There's something about that dark olive that just makes it disappear in so many different landscapes. I really like it with my WB Superfly and Mamajamba tarps.

That's a good video demo of how effective that marpat is. I could barely see it until the last moment. I always thought digital camo was a bit weird, but it looks like it work really well.
It's also convinced me to go for a square tarp design, which ive been considering, and add tie outs for hex like that. (I.e optional doors) I've just nearly fallen asleep testing my DD 3x3 in that configuration in this current storm.
I can always cut the hex after and re do the seams.

There is no way I could afford multicam as awsome as it looks. besides I can't see a Ripstopbytheroll sil poly in multicam at the moment.

Dark olive seems a good option if I don't go for camo, though I've seen some comments saying theirs is almost black.
    I am encouraged though.

Thanks so much for your advice everyone!

Coyote brown in silpoly blends in nicely.
