Which Blackbird?

I have a double layer 1.7 blackbird and I love it. The only thing is that I would like to lighten my load some and I wonder if a single layer 1.7 or a double layer 1.1 would be comfortable for me. I weigh 225 lbs. I would be interested in trading for another blackbird if you all think that the lighter versions are as or almost as comfortable as the king daddy 1.7 doubler.I use a snug fit under quilt so I don't need the double layer for a foam pad. Thanks

the dl1.1 and single1.7 are both fine for someone your size looking to go light.
