2 questions for the masses:

If ordering a DL hammock, does it matter what strength the inside layer is? I'm in the 315 zone and am thinking 2.4 Hexon outside and a much lighter inside (for color only really). Will the light weight fabric be ok?


Anyone who uses the RL UQ hooks; will that tear up. Fronkey style net if used under the net? Curious if the ends would pick the net?

Stronger fabric on the outside. Softer on the inside. You are fine with the r/l quilt hook as long as you don't clip them on. There is a narrow slot on them and they clip on zing it. however if you clip it on the ridgeline through the bugnet you will tear up the net when you move around. When you have a net, there is plenty of friction to hold the hook in place with out clipping it.
