One of us! One of us!
Thanks for that. Now to feed that addiction.

Note:I have one of Dutch's hammocks in 10 and also 11.The 11 is noticeably more comfortable and I am a short guy so I doubt height makes any difference.
Just wanted to say that I ordered a 11' Dutch netless and when I got it I was amazed with the craftsmanship. I have an ENO doublenest and another small Chinese-made ENO knock off hammock. Both are in my opinion very good quality for the money.
SO, then I get my Dutch hammock. I apparently didn't know what quality was until this. There are no loose threads or errors in the stitching, the material feels strong and durable. Everything just felt like it was made with care. And it was only like $57 with Amsteel continuous loops.
I'm a Dutch believer now for sure. To be honest with you, I can live without a lot of the fancy hardware. I have a pretty durable and lightweight ridgeline and suspension setup with paracord, Walmart carabiners, and a couple of prussic knots. What I needed was a good hammock. That's what really mattered to me. That's where Dutch came in. I personally think he should really build up his hammock line and make that end of his business equal to his hardware line of business. I realize the hammock maker market is getting crowded, but I feel he definitely has a competitive edge with the inexpensive but very superior quality $50 hammock. Another big seller is the high-weight capacity fabric offerings. DH only offers fabric rated up to 350lbs. Dutch's Hexon 2.4 goes to 400lbs. That's important to me.
All right. I'm done know. I've said everything.
So I just received my Amok Draumr 3.0 in rusty red with their tarp. I understand that it is pretty well set up stock, but say I wanted to "Dutch" it out, what would I do/get in the bling and such department??
I never knew titanium could call to me...
I recently tore a strap with mine-- and amok was quick to get me a new pair of straps at no charge- I'm sold on their customer service. In the meantime while waiting on the new straps, I rigged it with Dutch's dyneema straps and a titanium buckle to replace their carabiner. That saved me a few ounces-- but I have yet to "bling" the tarp out.

I am so glad i found this thread on the HF. I was beginning to worry about the number of orders I've placed with Dutch. Now I see I really have nothing to worry about. Thanks guys!
