I'm certainly not close to Adam at HG and don't feel comfortable announcing his new products. Do what I did, give him a call and ask ;-)

Yea they're killing me here. I'm not sure why it would be due to getting it on the web site. I checked their source code and they're using bigcommerce which is chimp simple. I use zen cart and even though it's open source it takes literally minutes to get a product online. Facebook is even faster. I'm a patient man but d&%m when you're favorite vendor makes this kind of announcement hard not to be anxious for the news.

It's not the actual posting to the website so much as detailing the product with description, pricing, pics etc.

Say it was a jacket, pants or other wearable product (and I have no clue what it might be), you'd want some studio shots, in use shots, pics from the field/in use that highlights whatever distinquishes it from the competition.

Maybe they're waiting on labeling, packaging or some other logistical concern. Maybe they want to have an on hand quantity minimum to handle the initial rush of orders.

All sorts of reasons.
But none of them matter haha, tell us already !!

Logistical concern, indeed! We were all ready to announce it with specs, pictures, details, etc., but then we ran into a snag that has to be fixed before the grand reveal. My apologies for our cruelty, and of course, I do not want to worsen the wait, so I can at least admit that is is a double top-quilt. The name will be revealed with the information. It should be up and running on the website within the next 3 days.

That being said, we have yet another product coming fast down the pipeline that will be revealed at the end of February. I am grateful for your patience in our releases. We'll do our best to make sure the next release isn't delayed! Thank you for all the HG love.
