Please find hereunder a brief vid of 3-days quality time in the woods, ruins and caves of the Belgium Ardennes together with our son Floris. Some grounddwellers had to break up camp due to heavy rain. We love our hammocks

Looks like y'all ate pretty good! And the castle was amazing. We just don't have stuff like that here in the states. Thanks for sharing.
I have heard that the foxholes dug by the 101st Airborne are still visible in the Belgium Ardennes. Were you near there? I would love to travel to that area some day.
I would love to visit and pay my respects to the WW1 and WW2 battle grounds there. It looks beautiful too!
Great looking couple of days in the woods....
Mountain views are good for the soul....& getting to them is good for my waistline.

Are there campsites in the woods in Belgium or do you have to stealth camp? I've only found one place with 10 authorized sites where I live in Germany.
Thanks for your reply, BanjoPicker. In the Ardennes you see all kinds physical reminders of the past as an impressive monument to freedom.
Indeed, respect. Hopefully you will visit Belgium in the future. It is a beautiful country.
The woods are wonderfull. I really enjoy nature together with my son. And hammocks are such excellent shelters to stay in touch with the surroundings.
Hello Dave-O. You have campsites as well. But i prefer stealth camp when it is more or less tolerated or after permission of the owner.
