Hey all, My name is David and I go by durtsurf on facebook and youtube. I love sleeping in hammocks, it is much easier than sleeping in a tent for my back. I believe I have some relatively unique ideas on some of my videos. Check it out. I also winter camp and am located in Bend oregon. In the summer I like to bikepack with a hammock. One of my favorite new ideas was hanging a hammock in the snow with nothing to support it other than two small branches found at camp. I burried the branches in the snow to support the hammock. It worked great. Looks like a fun site!
