Getting out and getting into hanging doesn't have to be expensive, my cheap setup about $ 130.00 total or so is as follows,
DIY hammock made from a tablecloth from tableclothfactory..... $ 18.99
    Chinook Guide all purpose tarp from TentCityOutfitters..12 X 9' 6" $49.99
DIY underquilt made from a Mylar emergency blanket, quilt batting covered in ripstop nylon $30.00 or
    use a CC foam pad $ 10.00
DIY bug net made from sheer curtains...$ 10.00 from Wally World
nylon webbing or Paracord 50 feet ....$6.00
Use a sleeping bag that you have for a top quilt,
Checkout the Internet and hammockforum for great DIY videos and instructions, you can upgrade later to better gear if you want to but I have been using my DIY hammock and tarp for a couple years and love it, if it's not broke why fix it???
    Happy hanging

Nothing wrong with a Hennessy of course, and I'm bias because I use a Dutchware hammock.... but there's not a chance you leave empty handed if you go there.

You don't know the power, of the Dutch side of the force.
Well you were right. I went and met Dutch today and didn't leave empty handed. What a great guy, I'm glad I got the chance to meet and chat with him.
