    Cool Video: How to make a Karo Step Baffle Top Quilt

    Hey folks, Here is a step-by-step instructional video showing how I made my Multicam(R) Top Quilt. Hope it helps others!

    Finished Specs:
    Weight= 24 oz
    Length= 81 inches.
    Width= 50" at the head end; 40" at the foot end.
    3" Baffles (www.dutchwaregear.com)
    16 oz of 950FP Treated Down (www.downlinens.com)
    1.5 Multicam(R) for the outer layer. (available at both www.dutchwaregear.com and www.ripstopbytheroll.com)
    Argon 67 for the inner layer. (www.dutchwaregear.com)

    Thank you for the excellent video tutorial. This is the first time I have understood what exactly a Karo Step is and how it differs from the standard baffles in other tq/uqs. I notice your video is featured on the RBTR website.

    Here is a pic of my attachment. I ordered it from http://www.cutexsewingsupplies.com/. Be advised, I have a Juki 8700 machine and you may need to go to your sewing machine's web site to get additional attachments.

    You can see the split. The right side of the split is attached to a spring mechanism that allows it to pivot while maintaining pressure. Hope this helps. G-Nut
