    WBRR Spindrift and Pad/Lynx UQ

I received my new two door spindrift for my RR and absolutely love it. I set it up at home and having to take apart and feed the suspension lines through the grommets has me thinking on how the heck I'm going to attach the UQ while outdoors?

I'm thinking you need two people or else the hammock and UQ (if you attach first) would get on the ground.

So, my question is has anyone who owns one just assembled the spindrift at home and was able to maneuver it enough in the field to attach the UQ and or pad?

    Thanks!

I assemble the hammock, UQ and spindrift at home and just stuff it in to the bottom of my pack....

Hang the hammock as normal, add the spreader bars and then just reach in through the doors on the spin and attach the quilt. No need for anything to be on the ground.

When ordering my Spindrift, I had Brandon install 30" zippers into each end, just to be able to manage the bars, pads, and under quilts. Makes it simple to adjust to needs.
If not using a pad, only the bars need removing, and then the whole rig gets bundled.

I also have the double door Spindrift, and have found that the 2 zippered ends often are useful venting options as well.
Brandon used the same double sided pulls on the 30" end zippers, just like the doors.
Access from inside is easy on the head end, but I am not athletic enough to operate the foot zipper while in the RR.

    Maybe Brandon could retrofit yours?

I know it's not the lightest gear, and it's a lot of stuff, but I use a canoe, so it's a lot like car camping, but without the other cars.

Thanks everyone! I actually set the Spindrift up and was actually able to get the UQ attached just fine!
