An old color safe bleach bottle with the pour spout removed. I don't like to get out of the sling to pee at night. I just take it to the latrine and empty it in the morning.

I can only afford to live free.
Anything else cost far too much.
Pee Bottle.
Fly rod or tenkara rod. I'm a riverside camp sort of guy, no balds or gaps or summits for me. After food is done, or before the other guys are up and moving, some river time is always ALWAYS an excellent diversion.
It's been a while since I've packed, due to back issues, but heading out for the first time in a while now that I've got this hammock thing going. Love finding a spot where several creeks come together, set up a base camp, and off we go exploring upstream. Hard to get lost that way. Been skunked a lot, but have found some amazing places as well.
Stuff that makes HAMMOCKING easier: Dutch clips on my suspension. Figure 9s for my tarp.
Stuff that makes Hammocking nicer: MP3 player & earphones (plus a spare set of earphones), fleece pillow case with a knit hat as filler / sleep hat.
Stuff that makes Camp nicer: UM,,,,,, nothing. Used to carry a tin whistle, rarely used it, left it behind last trip, didn't really miss it so,,,,,
When you have a backpack on, no matter where you are, you’re home.
PAIN is INEVITABLE. MISERY is OPTIONAL.
I like to bring a small foam pad for standing on.
The one little thing I always bring is my binoculars. Not just a cute little pocket pair, I like my full sized bushnell permafocus binos, I can always find something to look at whether I'm camping, hunting, or just hiking. The other item I always keep in my pack, specially if it's a trip with other folks, is a deck of plastic playing cards. The plastic is durable and I don't have to worry about them getting wet and ruined.
A piece of tarp for the ground. Light weight and big enough for my pack while setting up and my feet when it's time to get in and out of hammock.
Some extra cord like zing-it and some nite ize carabiners. Never know when you need a little extra line or something to attach things with.
