Hey guys I have an 11 foot Dutch Hammock with a 110 inch Ridgeline. Has anyone tried to use the Kelty Noah 12' x 12' tarp in a similar set up? Any pros or cons? It's on sale for $50 right now at REI if anyone was looking for an inexpensive tarp btw.

Lots of people have bought them. Just a little heavy is the only complaint I've heard.
Weight is the only con I can think of. I kept mine for car camping because it covers so much. Porch mode is especially nice.
that's the tarp I plan to use with my Dutch 11' too, I've seen one in the woods and was impressed with the size and number of options / configurations. I've been hanging out back with an 12' x 9' blue walmart tarp and the 12' length seems long enough so far (It was raining tonight without issue). Also, you could turn the Kelty and use it a-sym or even diamond style. I can deal with the weight (not sure how much it weighs) since we canoe camp.
BTW - I see you have a DIY UQ, you could always make a lighter one, check out rip stop by the roll's website. That was my 1st option until I saw the lower cost of the Kelty 12'.

Yea I have one, I put 2 hammocks under it, it's huge. your hammock would fit under it whether oriented square or diamond. It's "big and heavyish" I guess but it's pretty durable and a bunch of tie outs. Mine came with ?5? good Y-shape stakes and a bunch of cheap (but it gets the job done) line
Awesome, I was a little worried about pitching it square because of the length of it. But thanks for the feedback.
I've got one, and a 11ft 8in -12ft hammock with no ridgeline (meaning no set length when hung).
The Noah 12 has pretty deep cat cuts. If I pitch mine square, I get about 6in at each end of hammock sticking out (that's a guess, not a measurement, and it was a while ago hence me not knowing exactly).
On the diagonal, it easily covers my hammock, even in some good rain with some wind.
Overall it's a good tarp. Is heavier than the fancy ones, but far less bulky than the blue tarp that I'd been using before. Worth the money at that price, especially as it is a pretty sturdy tarp, and will be useful car camping, at the beach, etc.
Good luck making a decision .
Here's my kelty hung above my 11ft darien. It only weighs like 2lbs. which i know is heavy compared to other tarps but it's not bad considering the coverage, tie-outs, and cost of it.

I use a Noah12 with 11' Dutch Hammock. My only complaint is weight, but I've saved weight in a lot of other areas and the tarp and my TQ are my last hold outs. I don't really go on long trips, so the extra weight is not that big a deal.
I love my KN12. I have a DIY 11' and can pitch it diagonal, A-frame, and even in winter mode with doors. It may be heavy but it's huge and versatile.
