Campout 'Big Hart Campground" USACE Group Site August 5-7

I have reserved the USACE Big Hart Campground Group Site for 5-7 August. This is a great group site right on J. Strom Thurmond Lake just outside Thomson, Ga. and not far from I-20. The group site is in it's own area behind a gate. There are 7 sites with power and water, the area has it's own private bath house and a pavilion. All the sites are right on the water. There may not be enough trees if a large group shows up, so if you have a stand you may want to bring it, and you can get closer to the water. also, RV's are welcome, August is hot and I plan to bring my 7x14 trailer with air conditioning, just in case it is 100 degrees and I am near heat stroke. RV's are limited to 1 per site, so please let me know if you plan to bring one. It is also a great place for swimming, kayaking/canoeing/paddle boarding, and motor boats. Please be safe and respectful of others. Wear your life jacket.

I have invited the Palmetto State Hangers and just want to put this out there to all my Hammock Forum friends to come and join us. I will just ask for a donation to put toward the cost.

Due to my work, I am not on this site much anymore, but I will be checking it periodically. Hope to see you out there.

Cool I will put this one on my calendar, thanks
    Straight out of Clayton.

Most physical hike: Grandfather Mountain, NC. Aug 13.

I don't need to make my pack lighter. I need to make my (_*_) lighter.
