If I needed to insulate the bottom of my hammock without getting an under quilt would this idea work? Say I want to use my hammock in my cabin(heat gets turned off at night so I don't need too much insulation) and also with the possibility of using it outside where the temps could get down in the 40-50's. so in other words I would need varied amounts of R value. Would it be possible to just sew in a couple of yards of fabric under the hammock to where I could either stuff in a spare sleeping bag for colder nights or a spare fleece blanket in there for less chilly nights. Couldn't I just sew a "pocket" or even open ended in the general area of the hammock of where I would sleep? Your thoughts?
