    Trouble with zingit and fleaz.

The trouble is not getting them to work. The set up works perfectly and they hold the tarp guylines in place. My problem is during teardown, I'm struggling to get to zingit out of the locking grove of the fleaz.

I usually have to give it a good tug to unlock the zingit from the fleaz. The zingit can handle it and shows no sign of wear.

I used a small screwdriver to open mine slightly. They still hold perfectly but are much easier to get the line out during takedown.

Before you adjust them. Try unhooking them in the front and turning them backwards. It should slide right out.

Then I invite you to try unhooking them and flipping them backwards. I think you will see it slides right out.

Thanks, I will give it a try. The zing-it was digging into my winter dry hands last time I was fighting with it.

As mentioned above, I also used a screwdriver to open the wing slightly.

During take-down, I undo the hook first and flip it around.

I just wanted to participate so I can get a ribbon.
