As a matter of fact, yes, interesting to hear corroboration. We have power lines that run a cutout adjacent to a river I paddle and hang along the banks. During a flood a couple years ago, I was able to paddle down the power line cutout. Saw many deer and beaver and herons and such, but after about 30 minutes, was having a dull headache. I had a feeling it might be the power lines because of how they were humming at times. When I cut out and got back on the river, the headache cleared up after a while.

Powerlines under the heavy load generates a big magnetic field, which can affect as far as 300meters.
I have never experienced such a headache as this time. And felt it was in a different side of head depend where i was standing.
Glad you didnt experience this strong as i had. I think humming tells that it has a lot of load.

Don't know if the windturbines will cause any problems, except some noise

But just noticed that the trail which passes the lean-to, goes 2 km under the powerlines. Headache trail ahead!

Power lines freak me out - I wouldn't hang near them for a million bucks.

The nature of wind is distributed energy that needs to be connected to the load center (cities).
Lots and lots of new transmission lines, for better or for worse.
