First diy project: UNDERQUILT

This will be my first diy project for me so I have a few questions about the design of the underquilt. I have a kit from ripstop by the roll heading my way. His plans show the suspension just on the end and im going to run the suspension down the lenght of the hammock. Does anyone have any good plans to help me do this. Also I'm 6'10' tall is there any benefits or problems making the underquilt wider than 48". Please help thanks

I just recently made one myself. The build plans are at the link below. Be advised, although I used darts for the outer shell, and the plans call for darting they are NOT needed. I made another quilt after the first one and did NOT add darts and it came out just fine. So, save yourself from any unnecessary, recreational thread injecting and skip the darts! Post pics of the final product.
