not sure if this is the right place to ask, but are the tripod legs adjustable? if not, could additional holes be put into them as part of this kickstarter product? i imagine the additional holes would be great for adjusting for uneven grounds.

Yes it would work but I don't recommend it for a camping hammock. The issue comes from trying to rig a tarp. I would say buy at the risk of it not working though.

The only part that is interchangeable is the top block of the tripod. Everything else is sized different to fit the new poles which aren't the size of the emt conduit. We will look at what type of discount can be done for those who would like to change if we get this project funded but I'm sure it won't be much just for the 2 parts.

Yes, not shown in the pics but there are a series of holes to adjust the height of the stand.

I'm interested in the stand but I worry about the tarp over the pole. I feel like if it's not perfectly level water will run down the pole and drip on the hammock. Any input on this?

Maybe tie a drip line on the pole just under the edges of the tarp? Just guessing....

Or just get the camping model with the 13' ridge pole and hang your tarp underneath?

Definitely gonna get the 13' and I bet both options would work. Just haven't seen much details on it and wanted some confirmation

Your exactly right about drip down the pole. If it's going to rain you can rig it under the pole. It's set up to be used both ways.
