    SOLD: HH Ultralight Backpacker Asym

This HHULBA is in new condition with fly, snakeskins and stuffsack. It has been altered to included adjustable ring suspension with extra long tree huggers. I'll also throw in a set of 6' whoopie slings, if you decide to use that type of suspension instead.

Asking $150 shipped, or best offer...paypal, please.

Is this the wrong time to sell a hammock, or am I asking too much?

I sold a Warbonnet Blackbird in 18 minutes last a few days ago...so, this ain't the wrong time.
Hennessy lists the ULBA for $190. Of course, with the Christmas sale, you also get a Scout hammock.
I'll bet that has something to do with it.

You might try parting it out. Most here have or plan to have a Macat or similar tarp, and don't care to pay for something they don't plan to use. I've sold three stock silnylon tarps on HF for $20-25, but it took a whille.

Have you listed this on ebay? Expeditions are a dime a dozen there, but backpacker UL's are not common and sell for a good price there, you'd want to sell it there as a complete set.

Hanson, just FYI I've had the same thing for sale here for over a month with no interest so far. Ebay might be a better bet.

My rule of thumb for buying used stuff online is I won't pay more than 50% of actual retail (not "suggested retail," but actual, including regular sales discounts).

Once the online price goes above 50%, I tend to feel more secure buying direct with all the guarantees and customer service that entails, besides, I want new if I'm paying new.

    But that's just me.

    ...Thinking about it ...

Have to ask my wife if I can have it for Christmas.

If I upgrade the suspension, will that increase to weight limit on this UL model? I'm currently losing weight, but it will take a while to get under 200 pounds.
