OK, so it was made a year ago. But it's still new to me! I've been wanting a Dream for a while, just haven't been able to force it into the budget. I was getting ready to just do it, but realized that it wouldn't be finished in time for my hike, so I spent my budget on other important gear. Then I saw it in the "For Sale" forum...and it was configured exactly how I wanted it. It was definitely outside my budget, but it was done, would arrive in time for the hike, and basically what I planned on getting anyway (I may have added a top cover, but that's not really essential). So, I went ahead and broke the budget. Oh well...I now join the DH family!
It's a RoamingGnome (now DangerBird) with all the options - tie-outs, peak shelf, ridgeline organizer, extra zippers, in coyote brown 1.6 HyperD.
I'm pumped! Thanks for the deal, BuckeyePaddler. Now off to the trail a week from today. It's supposed to be a bit rainy - that's ok, great opportunity to use the gear.
And thanks for great work from the Smurfs. What I see so far matches all the hype. I look forward to making my trailmates jealous.
