Integrated Tarp and Hammock Suspension

I toyed with this type of setup for a while, but couldn't keep the tarp as tight as I wanted. It always sagged when I got in the hammock. I've settled on a hybrid design with tarp connected to tree straps using zing it and Dutch tarp worms. Weighs very little and almost no sag. May swap the worms for flies to make adjustments easier, but it works pretty well as is. My hammock is hung separate on the same tree straps using a combination of soft shackles and a slightly unique whoopie sling.

Hi mates, as you well know in HH hammocks there is a plastic hook on each side of the suspension rope to attach the tarp. I would like to replace by shock cord. Which way is the best/safe to do that? Replacing the prusik line by shock cord i will not have anything in parallel if it breaks. Any thoughts?
