    How to Edit Threads

I was going to edit a post I made recently but I was unable to do so (no "edit" button was shown). So instead I had to make a second post in the thread. However, I can edit the second post. Why can I edit one post and not another?

Also, in the "For Sale" forum, how do I edit the thread title (to add SOLD) and how do I lock a thread?

There's a time limit on how long a post remains editable. Can't remember offhand what the time limit is, though.

Never did a for-sale post, someone else will answer that.

Update (edited ) If you edit in 'Advanced' mode, you can edit the title line (see above) as well as the message body.

Only moderators can lock a thread, I believe.

I'm thinking the time limit for editing is 3 days, and I believe Frawg is correct on all points made<G>.
If we miss closing a 4-sale thread when it's finished, just drop one of the mods a PM.
I too will something make and joy in it's making
