Hi and welcome from San Antonio! You're in luck, Florida has some great hangers and even better hangs than anywhere else I have been, including the largest gathering of hammock campers/backpackers in the world, HANGCON, in the Ocala National Forest each January.
Whoa, I had no idea there were so many hangers from Tallahassee!
Lilricky, no kidding? Where can I find out more about hangcon? I've never heard of it.
I don't really do any hanging in town. The closest place I go to hang is Torreya State Park.
Yup. Torreya is closest. Further West, there's Blackwater St Park and Econfina Creek - I have yet to try either.
